At the September board meeting, the 藏精阁 Board of Trustees welcomed new member Michelle Mills Clement, CEO of the Chicago Association of REALTORS庐.
An experienced association executive, Mills Clement previously served as president and CEO of the Commercial Brokers Association in Seattle. She is a director on the board of the Association Forum, and a Fellow of ASAE: The Center for Association Excellence, an honor bestowed on fewer than 1% of the association鈥檚 membership.

A Chicago native, Mills Clement is a passionate voice for fair housing and antiracism in the real estate industry. Under her leadership, the Chicago Association of REALTORS庐 issued a 2018 apology for past actions promoting inequality and segregation in Chicago. She has been a vocal advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion on behalf of the National Association of REALTORS庐 and as cohost of the .
Mills Clement has won many honors and awards, including Crain鈥檚 Chicago Business鈥檚 鈥40 Under 40鈥 in 2019.
Mills Clement holds a bachelor鈥檚 degree in communication from Bradley University and a master鈥檚 degree in nonprofit management from DePaul University. She has a certificate in commercial real estate from the University of Washington and has earned the Certified Association Executive (CAE) certification from ASAE and the REALTOR庐 Certified Executive (RCE) certification from the National Association of REALTORS庐.
