The Bachelor of Music in Music Education with emphasis in Songwriting and Production is a four-year degree plan that provides a path toward K-12 teaching licensure for active composers, arrangers, producers and sound engineers who are interested in a career in music teaching at the elementary and secondary levels.
This degree includes the full complement of Music Education, Core Musicianship, Professional Education and General Studies courses that are currently required for CCPA teacher licensure programs in the state of Illinois— ensuring the opportunity for employability after graduation.
