The What-If feature in Degree Works provides an option for students to choose a different program, major, or concentration and evaluate the requirements as well as how previous courses fulfill those requirements. The following tutorial builds upon information in the previous tutorials. It is recommended that you review the basic student tutorials before proceeding.

A Degree Works degree audit displays completed, current, and planned coursework to outline requirements already taken and requirements still needed for a student鈥檚 degree, major, minor, and concentration. The audit also shows requirements taken and still needed to fulfill the college general education program. Easy-to-read check boxes indicate completion.
The information in Degree Works is updated each night. Any changes made today (such as grade changes or classes added or dropped) will be seen in Degree Works tomorrow.
Contact your academic advisor to discuss any discrepancies or questions you have about the requirements shown on your audit. If your Advisor agrees that additional requirements have been fulfilled they will initiate the process of entering an Exception.

Your degree audit is a tool to outline progress and better plan your program. Your transcript is your official 藏精阁 academic record and is a chronological record of academic history.
If the @ sign appears with course numbers after it (such as @300:399), it means that you can take any subject area with that level (a 300-399 level course from any subject area). If it appears after a subject prefix (such as ENG @), it means that you can take any course with that subject prefix (meaning any course in English).
Yes. The 鈥淲hat If鈥 option in Degree Works reorganizes your completed coursework according to the requirements for any change you are considering.
First discuss your plans with your academic advisor. You can then submit a change-of-major form with the registrar鈥檚 office.
The Planner is a tool to arrange unmet requirements into future semesters and create a timeline guide. It鈥檚 best for you to complete this in conjunction with your advisor. Please note that a plan is a guide and does not guarantee course offerings in specific terms.
As of March 1, 2016 Degree Works will be available to all 藏精阁 graduate and undergraduate students admitted for Fall 2014 semester or later.
Yes. Degree Works is accessed through the secure RUACCESS log-in. Advisors, faculty, and authorized staff have access to Degree Works to aid students in program planning.
