The College of Science, Health and Pharmacy is thrilled to announce the acceptance of multiple students into various health professional schools and allied health clinical programs. These soon-to-be graduates will continue their education at several prestigious programs.
The health professional school acceptances represent students entering medical and dental schools. These scholars come from 藏精阁鈥檚 degree programs such as the Master of Arts in Biomedical Sciences, the Master of Science in Biology and the Bachelor of Science in Biology. Students received acceptances from five medical universities, including the Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine, Kansas City University and the Southeastern University Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine. Acceptances were received from six dental schools, including the Howard University College of Dentistry, Marquette University and the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. There were also acceptances into physician assistant MS programs at five universities including Arcadia University, Marquette University and Southern Illinois University.
Allied health clinical programs train medical professionals to diagnose and treat diseases and illnesses. These health care professionals make up more than half of the health care workforce in the U.S. The allied health clinical program acceptances include radiography, radiation therapy, diagnostic medical sonography, nuclear medicine, histotechnology and medical technology. Northwestern Memorial accepted a record number of 23 藏精阁 students into their clinical schools and programs. Notably, the NorthShore University HealthSystem medical technology clinical program also accepted five 藏精阁 students.
