About Me
Dr. Banabithi Bose is an Assistant Professor of Biomedical Sciences in the College of Science, Health, and Pharmacy at 藏精阁 and founder of the . Dr. Bose earned her Ph.D. in Computational Mathematical and Statistical Sciences with a specialization in Bioinformatics from Marquette University. She subsequently completed postdoctoral training at Northwestern University and the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, with a focus on computational genomics, human genetics, and precision medicine.
Dr. Bose's research program lies at the intersection of artificial intelligence, computational genomics, and systems biology, with a focus on translating complex biomedical data into insights relevant to human disease and precision medicine. Her lab develops computational and AI-driven approaches to integrate genomic, transcriptomic, epigenomic, single-cell, and clinical data, with particular interests in cancer genomics, pharmacogenomics, and sex differences in disease biology. Through machine learning, network-based approaches, and statistical genomics, her research seeks to uncover disease mechanisms, identify therapeutic targets and biomarkers, and improve the prediction of treatment response.
The BOSE-AI Lab welcomes inquiries from motivated students and researchers interested in applying artificial intelligence, computational genomics, and systems biology to understand human disease and advance precision medicine. M.S. and Ph.D. students, postdoctoral researchers, and visiting scholars interested in research opportunities or potential collaborations are encouraged to contact Dr. Bose.
